Our Story

Hello fellow anglers and outdoorsmen.

My name is Mathew Sanchez and I’ve enjoyed the outdoor lifestyle since I was a small child. I crossed my first rope bridge at the age of 4 and officially joined the Scouts at the age of 5. Being in the Scouts with my brothers set me on a path to love and respect the outdoors and all it has to offer. Camping all over California was a regular activity for us. We learned shooting sports and fishing skills and had many off road adventures in our troop. My dad had a 4wd mini pickup we called Little Big Foot. We would take that truck everywhere. Mountains, deserts, dunes, or sometimes just wherever the road would lead us. We even drove right onto Pismo Beach and enjoyed the water. Mud, snow, sand, desert, mountains, we did it all.

I’ve been fresh and saltwater kayak fishing for a few years now and I love the peace, freedom, and adventure it provides. I expanded my fishing hobby by learning to make my own custom hand made fishing lures. I’ve experimented with different ideas, designs, and methods of making my lures. The mission I have for my lures are strength and durability in their construction. Effective action in the water. And detailed, artistic design. I’m now offering a limited edition of my custom handmade lures on my site. I hope you will enjoy them as I have.

I’ll also post some links to some friends who offer some related outdoor goods and services. I’ll post some pictures of my miscellaneous adventures too so you can enjoy the outdoors with me. And of course, friendly comments and suggestions are always welcome. See you in the outdoors!
